Näked Fruit Ladiez
https//: this series began with me f*ckn around & then grew into something a little more than that, nowadays we fall into categories of who we are as an individual according to society,, I’ve always seen these stereotypical categories more as self-aesthetic groupings,,,
as I created tiling for the backgrounds of the fruit headed ladies (¿¿¿) I came to the realization that each one’s aura distinctly correlated to some of the lovely gals in my life (+ myself), thus was born my first digital print series…
I believe when looking at these the viewer should appeal to not just one, but many, or bits & pieces of each one’s aesthetic because we are all beautifully unique & drawn to our own personal likings built of what we see around us.
Marketing
The marketing of this series stems from digital culture. In the intro, one might see the patterns of glitchy characters, web lingo and a relaxed, yet fun voice that communicates as our “texting” culture would. I wanted the intro to match the initial drop as well as keeping a consistent marketing appearance throughout the series.
Above are banner graphics for different social platforms’ stories. The first sets the theme for the marketing visuals, the second is short and to the point that there will be five original prints for sale, the third introduces the idea of personalized prints to grab more attention to the series and the fourth teases a giveaway to create some excitement for whats to come.
Orignial Five Prints
Prints are encased in an Adobe Illustrator border to add to the theme of the marketing for this drop. It adds a style to each while also keeping the prints non-printable.
Limited Personalized Prints
Personal prints were kept limited. This was meant to give buyers a connection to pieces they were excited to receive. I thoroughly looked into what I thought the buyer was interested as far as aesthetic, likes and styles surrounding them. Then took what I learned and surprised them with these custom prints. Personalized prints could be ordered in 5″x7″ or 8″x10″. I then capped the sale of personalized pieces to keep the sales for the original five flowing.
