BFA Senior Exhibition

After 4  years of hard work, passion, and love for what I do, I sucsessfully  completed my BFA Senior Exhibition at Stockton University’s art gallery within the semester of Spring 2019. A lot of thought, and different aspects of graphic design went into this  showcase and I could not be more proud to see my vision of my Mockup Tattoo Shop come to life.

I wanted my showcase to compliment the space I had chose and really activate the space. I strived for it to be interactive and welcoming to pick things up, sit down, and to make the viewers feel like they were in a real tattoo parlor. My set up consisted of mockup signs, decor, flash sheets, ink bottles, a look book and a center piece of my designs cropped onto a model. I also provided my designs as temporary tattoos so viewers could take a piece of my show with them.

I think it is important to show how many different aspects of graphic design there is. Such as package design, editorial/book design, photographic design and overall one’s ability to incorporate their own graphics into graphic design as a whole.

Tattoo Book

The “Tattoo Book” was a concept I created to show  little drawings I did over the years  in an effective and innovative way that inspired my whole senior showcase concept.

In it I show visual representations of the artwork on different body parts, as well as a minimalistic, full color layout.
