I finally circled back to canvas, & it felt good!
The under painting to this piece was sitting in my studio for about a month & remained untouched for the time being. I was trying to find the direction I wanted to go in & felt super uninspired in this time. I then decided to go in with no plan & thats when the ideas tumbled like dominos.
It’s not perfect but neither are we.
This piece was made using acrylic paint, up-cycled prints of the past, disco tiles & spray paint to create depth within the layers. The piece is 18” by 24” on canvas.
