Logo Revamp
Recently I had the pleasure to help revamp Beachwood Elementary’s logo. As I did not want to change their iconic bear mascot, I simply focused on making their logo more modern rather than scratching it all together.
I started with taking away the harsh, black outline and substituting it for a navy blue to compliment their royal blue. I then focused in on the composition of the logo and the font. After sending a sheet of various directions, they went with the one closest to home, which was keeping the mascot icon in a circle.
Growing up near this school, it was exciting to have a hand in revamping and reviving something that was once new to myself, years later.
