During the beginning of quarantine I started to look around in my studio at the pieces that have been collecting dust. Instead of throwing the pieces away or keeping them untouched, I decided to collage them together to make something new.
This piece was constructed of new & old pieces of my personal art throughout the years. Some of the pieces consist of digital prints, linoleum cut prints, discarded pieces that did not print right and an overlay of added paint, as well as drawings.
The style was something new to me as it is more reckless and street art-like. It felt good to let loose and not stick to a strict/tight design but just simply create in the moment.
