A Very Special Commission
For the past three weeks now, I have been chipping away at the design of this very special board for a mother who lost her son. These past few weeks have been very emotional, as I wanted to do this piece the justice it deserves to remember Kyle for her.
His mother, Debbie had a beautiful vision for this board. She wanted the piece to speak for itself and have Kyle’s tattoos, board decals, beach imagery, and the image of his paddle out in the middle.
This is the most detailed piece I have ever done so far & I’m very happy to share it with everyone today. I’m also so heartwarmed to be making art that means something to the people around me & to create a memorial piece for his mother.
