Boutique Logo Design
A vintage styled, beach boutique on Shopify, moving to an in-store location in Monmouth County. This client wanted something of a cool tone and washed out color scheme that goes hand in hand with her merchandise.
I started the process with a few wave sketches and then transitioned into drawing driftwood. I wanted the driftwood iconography to appear softer with a flat look, but still have slight dimension with the lighter tan colors that compliment the blue/teal shades. With the addition of the typography, I chose a very care free script to add that “wave” or “water aspect” to the wood.
Brand Logo Design
An in-store brand for sweatshirts, t-shirts and any type of clothing the boutique creates. This brand keeps close ties to the main logo of the boutique. With it’s loose typography and hand drawn wave, the two logos create not only a theme but a story. The blue shade and tint compliments the more teal colors in the main logo, to not stray away but to create something new. With the repetition of the loose styled cursive, I researched some other logos within that genre to find this one to create more movement over the wave.
