Crossfit Arx- October Competition Shirt Designs
This design project was particularly fun because of the ultimate concept. The owner of Crossfit Arx Gym in Toms River, New Jersey, runs a seasonal crossfit competition and gets crazy shirts made for every event. I was able to work on the October shirt design.
The design in the past for their May competition consisted of bright blue and yellow with a llama. The owners own many different animals and like to incorporate them in a a versatile way to make the shirts fun and different from most crossifit shirts. Above is the chosen design in different color schemes.
Design Process
During the design process I went through many different takes given the desire from Crossfit Arx, for something of a pig with a coffee mug. To keep the typography legible and eye catching I tried to play around with different designs that still pull you in to what it is all about.
